Performance video. Artist himself arranged the camera and done the performance. When he was invited for a residency in Vancouver Biennale he has done a series of Public interventions regarding identity, Immigration, border, citizen ship and Asian diaspora. Back in India his practice is always connecting caste, colour and identity. In this video he was standing opposite to the sea and trying hoist/ hold a red flag. artist is very much interested in the water -(from were we came, conquered ) and travel. Looking to the horizon he is trying to hoist a flag that itself is his cloth.
